Minneapolis - St. Paul
Welcome to Dixie's, Grand Avenue's original restaurant for Southern-style cuisine since 1985 and home to award winning ribs, skin-on mashed potatoes and desserts. Well into the third decade of local ownership, Dixie's on Grand has just undergone an extensive remodel to give what was a gracefully aging southern belle a new, fresh interior while retaining its famous booths and seating along St. Paul's meandering Grand Avenue. Once a Piggly-Wiggly grocery store, Dixie's landmark site offers southern hospitality and its signature smokehouse ribs, chicken, chops and coconut shrimp to a loyal clientele, which is grown over the years. Minneapolis - St. Paul / Downtown Minneapolis
Chef/Owner Hector Ruiz welcomes you to Café Ena: A cozy intimate restaurant located in the tangletown neighborhood in south Minneapolis. Chef Ruiz pares his classic French technique and South American palate to present an exciting menu of Latin-Fusion cuisine. Begin your meal with Chili en Hogada, a stuffed poblano pepper with spiced beef, golden raisins and almonds served over a walnut cream sauce and pomegranate glaze. The many entrées include, pan seared turkey breast finished with a homemade molé sauce, the Camerone, jumbo shrimp wrapped with brie cheese and prosciutto or one of the Argentinean style steaks finished in a savory chimichurri. The wine list focuses on a wide range of varietals from Central and South America. Weekly Wine Flights are a great opportunity to sample the many styles offered on the list. If wine is not your thing, perhaps you would enjoy one of the many cervesas, always served in a frosty mug with a lime. Visit Cafe Ena |
