We are pleased to offer dining on beautiful Clearwater Bay with perhaps the most breathtaking view to be found in the area. Backwater's anchors the southern end of a boardwalk right on the bay. This includes shops, hotels, and many businesses. You can stroll along the boardwalk for an afternoon of relaxation or just sit back with a cool margarita and watch the dolphins play! Backwater's is known for their fresh black grouper and Black Angus steaks. Try our seasonal favorites like Florida stone crab claws, cobia, pompano or other local delicacies. Our fresh prime oysters and jumbo shrimp are menu mainstays. Chef Mark Carey always completes the daily menu options with specials selected from local seafood vendors that represent west coast fishermen and local industry.
