BIG WOODROW'S was constructed in 1993 and billed as Texas’ Largest Icehouse. During the Houston Rockets NBA Championship years of 1994 and 1995, and the Astros championship run in 2005, BIG WOODROW'S became known throughout the Houston area for its sportsbar theme and huge outdoor deck. It was clearly the preferred viewing location for those playoff games as hundreds of fans turned out for each game filling up not only the available seating indoors and on the front deck, but also parking lot as well! BIG WOODROW’S currently bills itself as a Texas Sized Sportsbar with a lot of Cajun Spice! It offers a complete food menu highlighting Cajun food items, which provides a smooth transition since our affiliate restaurant is an award-winning Cajun restaurant in Houston
