Bistro Campagne is a warm and friendly neighborhood restaurant in the tradition of a true French bistro. Opened in summer of 2002 by Chef Michael Altenberg, Bistro Campagne immediately became a favorite of the Lincoln Square residents as well as diners from all over the city & suburbs. From the beginning, we have strived to capture and express that ephemeral quality found in our favorite small neighborhood bistros in Paris and rural France: the sense of welcome, ease, fun conversation & and of course excellent food.
