 It's almost patio weather time here in Texas. We love our ice tea like there was no tomorrow, On that note, I have a great ice tea drink that will be a hit this spring and summer. The newest spirit out is a sweet tea vodka and there are several to choose from such as Jeremiah Weed, Firefly and Burnetts. |

 One of the easiest hot drinks to make while there is snow still on the ground is what I call Après Ski. For me that is a nice hot strong cup of coffee (I prefer Illy) with enough room left to pour a generous 2.0oz pour of Baileys Irish Cream (Original is my favorite) add some homemade fresh whipped cream and sprinkle on top a bit of cinnamon. That in my books is the best drink ever! |

 This is a variation of the original cocktail that was created in the early twenties. "This cocktail is very popular in France. It was first introduced in London by MacGarry, the celebrated bar-tender of Buck's Club." Embury credits the invention of the drink to an American Army captain in Paris during World War I "and named after the motorcycle sidecar in which the good captain was driven to and from the little bistro where the drink was born and christened". Hence this drink was named and was named at Harry’s Bar in Paris. |
