Farmerie 58 is a fresh new concept from the owners of Republic Restaurant. The contemporary American cuisine is thoughtfully developed by Chef William Alexander, whose previous work includes the Dining Room at Kendall College & New Orleans hotspots Emeril's & Commander's Place. The menu now focuses on local ingredients and sustainable sources, creating American bistro fare with subtle southern influences.
Appetizers include short-rib ravioli w/ house-made ricotta, crab cakes w/ remoulade & endive marmalade, dirty rice'd roasted duck gumbo, and sliced pancetta-abetted diver scallops. Upstairs, the raw bar serves East & West Coast oysters along with Republic's renowned maki rolls.
