MyDiningSpot.com was developed with the users and small businesses in mind. Have you ever traveled or moved to a new city and wondered where the locals go to hangout. Are you tired of doing multiple searches to find restaurants that have great Sunday brunches, places with a patio or have live entertainment? What if you had one website that allows you to view nationwide restaurants and does most of the work for you? We help local consumers and travelers find great local restaurants, clubs, entertainment venues and retailers in the different cities they are visiting or want to visit. We let our users know everything a restaurant has to offer... like Causal or Fine Dining, Kid Friendly or have Happy Hour Specials, Patio or lounge.
Users can register on MydiningSpot.com to win $25, $50, $100 gift certificates, write their own reviews, rate restaurants and recommend their favorite or worst places in town. We are not your average restaurant guide because we also give our restaurant members user names and passwords so that they can update their specials 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. This allows the restaurant owner(s) to give you discounts, specials and free gift cards directly from them with no middle man cutting in their profit and the freedom to offer their patrons their best possible deals. MyDiningSpot.com goals are to finally make local Internet advertising simple, accessible, and affordable for local businesses. Instead of charging monthly fees, we do Six months and One year contracts with the small business price point totally in mind. |

For me, the end of 2011 was exhausting to say the least. The usual holiday stress was amplified by the purchase of another home and a second move in less than six months. Throw in travel, birthdays and a family wide stomach flu all packed into a few months and you could certainly say I had quite a lot of extra chaos going on. So it was really no surprise to me when I blew my top one day as the proverbial straw broke the camel's back.
I felt myself tense up and then with tightened chest, a sick stomach and a pounding headache, I finally let go...sobbing in my husband's arms - cracking under the pressure of trying to keep it all together |

I travel a lot to many wonderful cities but I always love coming back home to Dallas. I love it mainly because several of my favorite restaurants are practically in my backyard. So last week after being away for few weeks I was craving one of my favorite spots for lunch only to find that I wasn't the only one. I couldn't believe that there was a 25 minute waiting list for LUNCH! But lucky as I was walking to the restaurant I spotted Nosh. It's a new European/ Mediterranean style bistro located in the Oak lawn/Uptown area of town. As I passed by the front of Nosh I looked through the windows and saw a beautifully decorated dining room with very rich looking huge wood bar and very open kitchen area. I thought to myself.... WOW! This look like a place I can suggest to my friend for our next group dinner. |
